About the event
Join the Poplar Bluff Trails Coalition in partnership with the US Forest Service, Mark Twain National Forest and Backcountry Horsemen of Missouri for a trail maintenance workday at the Victory Horse Trail.
We will be logging out down trees, cutting brush from the trail corridor, installing diamond blazes on trees, painting kiosks and other maintenance tasks.
The Victory Horse Trail is a 7-mile, multiple use trail best suited for equestrians, hikers and trail runners.
We will meet at the Wrangler TH, just off Pinecone Road, west of US-67.
Wear long pants, a long sleeve shirt, sturdy boots and bring eye protection. Volunteers will be required to sign paperwork stating they read and understand a US Forest Service job hazard analysis.
