About the event
Join the Poplar Bluff Trails Coalition in partnership with the US Forest Service, Mark Twain National Forest for a trail maintenance workday at the Wolf Creek Trail System. We will be working on a pesky trail drainage issue, cutting brush from the trail corridor and other similar maintenance tasks. Training and tools are provided. The Wolf Creek Trail System is a 22-mile multiple use trail network on the Mark Twain National Forest. We will meet at the North Trailhead, located just off US-60/67, two miles north of Poplar Bluff. Wear long pants, a long sleeve shirt, sturdy boots and bring eye protection. Volunteers will be required to sign paperwork stating they read and understand a US Forest Service job hazard analysis. If you are interested in volunteering at this event please email PBTC-Forest Service liaison Jon at jonathon.breithaupt@usda.gov
